Research, education, and technology for longer, healthier lives
PHREE is the research, education, and technology arm of Paradigm Health and Wellness.
Research
PHREE will run well-designed studies, be transparent with our work, report what we find, and help guide the future of wellness and longevity science, as well as treating diseases with novel therapies.
Education
We will produce and promote evidence-based education at a time when many voices in this domain are spreading significant misinformation that can cause harm.
Technology
All of this will be backed with technology that is intended to help track the longitudinal health journey of patients in a cutting-edge manner. It also gives them access to their own healthcare story, in a way that builds relationships with their clinical team and provides them the keys to the data about their body that they should own.
Featured research
PORTAL: the Paradigm Observational Registry for Therapies in Aging and Longevity
PORTAL is a first-of-its-kind registry. We are building a community that will help inform future studies and impact the care of millions of people.
PORTAL is IRB approved. It will adhere to the highest ethical research standards, and we will be transparent about every data analysis that is performed.
Future research
Longevity and wellness therapeutics cover a wide domain, including things that could affect everything from neurodegenerative diseases such as dementia and ALS to metabolic, cardiac and musculoskeletal health.
There is great debate over whether common therapies, ranging from metformin to rapamycin to CJC-1295 or BPC-157, have any signal of harm or benefit.

How we run research
Transparency
Every study will have a public page showing its stage, any funding, and dates. Anyone who chooses to support our research will be listed, as well as the complete protocol. Additionally, any amendments to the protocol will be clearly listed.
Rigor
Each study will be designed before it is funded, and will be reviewed by an independent IRB (research ethics board). The data will be analyzed by a predetermined plan, not afterward.
Truth
We will publish the results no matter what they show. Funders and donors will get no say in the methods, analysis, or conclusions. The science will speak for itself.

Upcoming studies
Education
We produce and promote evidence-based education. Here is what exists today and what is coming.
Active now
Clinical team training
We currently have education and training modules for all new clinical team members that we hire. Every new team member completes them.
In development
For healthcare providers
Versions of these modules where other healthcare providers can get training in the latest evidence.
In development
Patient library
A robust library of topics related to longevity, wellness, disease management, and overall health optimization.
Technology
PHREE builds the technology that Paradigm Health and Wellness use in their daily care of patients.
PORTAL: observational health database
A research database built from data collected in routine clinical care, with all patient identifiers removed according to HIPAA Safe Harbor.
Calanthe: electronic health record
Our team of physicians has a combined fifty years of frustration with modern electronic health records, which are built primarily for billing rather than patient care. We decided to create our own electronic medical record (EMR) that meets all cybersecurity and privacy standards.
It allows interactions through online portals and apps in a way that facilitates more time between patient and provider, and gives patients access to their healthcare story at the touch of a button. It is built with a robust AI engine that will allow physicians to see patterns in health and disease that might otherwise be impossible.

Submit an idea
We will keep a list of studies and topics requested by the community we are building, in order to fund the things that are of interest to the most people. You can submit a topic, or choose one from the list and move it up the priority list for what gets researched.
A topic moves up the list only through contributions to the research fund: each $100 given is one bump, and a bump moves a topic up one place. A bump changes only which topic we look at next. It never changes how a study is run or what we report.
No topics yet. Suggest one below.
Suggest a topic
How the list is kept
- Duplicate topics are merged.
- A topic needs a question that research can answer.
- Topics about one person's own care go to their care team, not this list.
- The top topics are reviewed by the research team each quarter.
Support the research fund
Our goal is to build a global community interested in seeing truth come to light.
"The truth will set you free."
John 8:32
PHREE was named in part because we believe the truth will set you free.
If you have interest in supporting us, and in supporting unfettered, high-quality science intended simply to get at the truth in a way that is much more rapid than traditional means, please support us.
We plan to run not only phase one and two studies when needed, but also pragmatic clinical trials for compounds that could potentially be repurposed.
What we will run
- Phase one and two studies, when a therapy needs them.
- Pragmatic clinical trials for drugs that could be repurposed.
- Real-world evidence from the PORTAL registry.
$100 = 1 bump
Give $100, $200, $500 or more. Each $100 moves your chosen topic up the list by one place.
What the money pays for
Study design, ethics review, supplies, data analysis and writing up results.
Giving opens soon
We are not taking payments yet. Leave your email and we will tell you the day giving opens.
Contributions are not tax-deductible charitable donations. A contribution does not buy influence over study methods, results or conclusions, and it is not payment for any medical service.
